Abstract
The present study compared effects of the CBR agonist diazepam and a synthetic analog of tuftsin Selank on six forms of rabbits’ spontaneous behaviour. The experiments were performed in 2 groups of animals. In the first group diazepam was injected intravenously at a dose of 1 mg/kg, in the other Selank was administered intranasally at a dose of 200 μg/kg. Each daily session lasted 2h. Diazepam reduced orientation-searching reactions and food uptake and it prolonged the comfort phase. Tuftsin analog did not influence the examined reactions.
