Using two-color photometry of local regions of luminescent images of rat spleen lymphocytes and a new computer software for data processing, pyknotic events accompanied by condensation of nuclear material and its fragmentation leading to the formation of apoptotic bodies have been registered. Under IR exposure, a change in the integral index of the degree of DNA spiralization (parameters a [a=640/І530]) has been found to occur, which indicates structural damage in chromatin.
