Zastosowanie metod w badaniach historycznych dotyczących pielęgniarstwa

ZASTOSOWANIE METOD W BADANIACH HISTORYCZNYCH DOTYCZĄCYCH PIELĘGNIARSTWA
Wprowadzenie. Artykuł dotyczy zastosowania metod w historycznych badaniach pielęgniarskich. Cel pracy. Celem niniejszego badania jest przedstawienie przeglądu opublikowanych badań dotyczących historycznych badań pielęgniarskich oraz rozważenie, w jaki sposób metody historyczne mogą pomóc w zrozumieniu przeszłości i współczesnego znaczenia tego zawodu.
Metody. Analiza obejmuje badania opublikowane w latach 2009–2023. Zidentyfikowano łącznie sześć badań. We wszystkich przypadkach autorzy przeprowadzili badania historyczne przy użyciu odpowiednich metodologii historycznych. Każde z wybranych badań opierało się na badaniach archiwalnych obejmujących analizę źródeł pierwotnych. Oprócz materiałów archiwalnych w dwóch badaniach zastosowano również metodę historii mówionej. Jako dodatkowe strategie badawcze wykorzystano studia przypadków i narracje biograficzne.
Wyniki. Badania historyczne pokazują, jak zmieniło się pielęgniarstwo na przestrzeni czasu i podkreślają wkład, który w innym przypadku mógłby zostać pominięty. Dostarczają one spostrzeżeń przydatnych w nauczaniu i kształtowaniu tożsamości zawodowej oraz zachęcają do refleksji nad praktyką. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, wyniki wskazują, że prace historyczne nadal mają znaczenie dla kształcenia pielęgniarek i przygotowania pracowników zdrowia.
Wnioski. Wyniki badań wskazują, że badania historyczne w pielęgniarstwie wykorzystują różnorodne podejścia metodologiczne.
