Lęk przedoperacyjny u pacjentów neurochirurgicznych

LĘK PRZEDOPERACYJNY U PACJENTÓW NEUROCHIRURGICZNYCH
Cel pracy. Lęk przedoperacyjny jest czynnikiem ryzyka różnych reakcji psychofizjologicznych u pacjentów, powodującym zwiększone zapotrzebowanie na znieczulenie, przedłużenie hospitalizacji i ogólnego okresu rekonwalescencji. Celem badania było wykrycie występowania lęku u pacjentów przed operacjami neurochirurgicznymi oraz ocena wpływu czasu do operacji i wybranych czynników demograficznych na występowanie lęku.
Materiał i metody. Badanie zostało zatwierdzone przez Komisję Etyczną Szpitala. Zastosowano projekt badania przekrojowego. Próba składała się ze 108 respondentów. Średni wiek wynosił 58,16 lat (SD = 12,49). Dane zebrano w okresie przedoperacyjnym u pacjentów przed planowanymi operacjami. Lęk przedoperacyjny oceniano za pomocą Amsterdamskiej Skali Lęku Przedoperacyjnego i Informacji. Do analizy danych wykorzystano program IBM SPSS Statistics 22, test U Manna-Whitneya, test Wilcoxona oraz współczynnik korelacji Pearsona.
Wyniki. Niepokój i potrzeba uzyskania informacji zmieniały się w miarę zbliżania się terminu operacji, wykazując tendencję wzrostową między pomiarami 1 i 2 (p<0,001) oraz między pomiarami 1 i 3 (p<0,001), w większym stopniu u kobiet. Nie stwierdzono statystycznie istotnego związku między niepokojem przedoperacyjnym a wiekiem.
Wnioski. Wyniki potwierdzają potrzebę oceny niepokoju przedoperacyjnego u pacjentów neurochirurgicznych.
