Postępy w endoskopii przewodu pokarmowego w ujęciu praktycznym

Zabiegi endoskopowe takie jak gastroskopia czy kolonoskopia już od lat umożliwiają wczesne wykrywanie zmian patologicznych przewodu pokarmowego. Stale jednak obserwuje się postęp technologiczny w endoskopii przewodu pokarmowego, który powodowany jest dążeniem do jak najtrafniejszego różnicowania zmian nowotworowych od prawidłowej tkanki i zmian zapalnych.
Spośród nowych technik endoskopowych w pracy opisano już uznane i sprawdzone, takie jak endoskopia kapsułkowa, enteroskopia wspomagana balonem, endoskopowa ultrasonografia, endoskopia z powiększeniem obrazu oraz nowe systemy elektroniczne poprawiające jakość obrazu. Omówiono możliwości i ograniczenia poszczególnych metod oraz zwrócono uwagę na praktyczne aspekty ich wykorzystania.
