Domestic violence - different definitions, different reactions - a review of the literature
Keywords:
domestic violence, mental health, depressionAbstract
Violence is not a new phenomenon. Violence and its effects can be examined in different areas: violence at work and school and domestic violence. You can also look at it also from the perspective of psychology, ethic, legal or social. Violence is an ambiguous concept. For this reason, a precise definition of domestic violence is not a simple task. Just as there are different definitions of domestic violence or domestic violence, there are various consequences, including long-term consequences for the health of people experiencing violence. Victims of violence suffer different changes not only emotional but also - in some - to changes in perceptions of self and the world around them. Often victims of violence also notify various physical symptoms that are not confirmed in medical research.
