About the Journal
„Current Problems of Psychiatry” is a continuation of yearbook "Research on Schizophrenia" and is intended for a wide group of psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and neuroscientists.
The yearbook is a reviewed scientific journal of international scope, publishing original research papers, review papers, case studies, and letters to the editor.
The aim of the "Current Problems of Psychiatry" is providing a wide audience with scientific works, representing a significant contribution to the development of psychiatry, neuroscience and clinical psychology.
The journal was positively assessed by a specialist team appointed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education for assessment of scientific journals and obtained 70 points in the list of scientific journals announced in the notice of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education on 1st December 2021.

The Editors accept the following types of manuscripts:
- original research papers,
- review papers, preferably in the form of systematic reviews and meta-analyses,
- case studies presenting unique or atypical forms of psychopathology, innovative forms of diagnosis and/or therapy,
- letters to the Editor presenting reasoned polemics or suggestions for revisions regarding published articles.
The Editors set limits on the length of submitted manuscripts: original research papers up to 6000 words, review papers up to 4500 words, case studies up to 2500 words, and letters to the editor up to 1500 words. This limit does not apply to the title page, figures, or references.
The Editors also set limits on the number of authors: for review papers and case studies up to 4 authors, and for letters to the editor up to 2 authors.
