Abstract

Violence against a life- partner have various and serious health consequences: a subjective evaluation of his poor health, frequent drug taking, depression, PTSD, headaches, gynecological and sexual problems, eating and digestive system disorders, infections and chronic pain syndrome. Victims of a violent behavior are in serious risk of suicide attempts, alcohol abuse often drugs abuse. Aggressive behavior of offenders useing violence in already widely described in the literature.

The article focuses on the attitudes of the victim in a family in which violence occurs. Attempt to describe the characteristics of victims of domestic violence definitely increase the visibility of this phenomenon, will allow victims to receive support from the health care professionals.
