Metody do pomiaru przedchorobowego poziomu inteligencji

W ocenie neuropsychiatrycznej pacjenta istotną rolę stanowi szacowanie przedchorobowego poziomu funkcjonowania intelektualnego. Celem pracy był przegląd metod służących do pomiaru przedchorobowego poziomu inteligencji wraz z oceną ich rzetelności. Metody te zostały przedstawione w czterech grupach tematycznych dotyczących: zmiennych demograficznych, skali Wechslera WAIS-R, testów werbalnych oraz kombinacji różnych metod. Przegląd ten ułatwia dokonanie wyboru narzędzi do oceny przedchorobowego funkcjonowania intelektualnego, co może być użyteczne zarówno w aspekcie teoretycznym jak i praktycznym, w trakcie tworzenia odpowiednich programów rehabilitacyjno-leczniczych dla pacjentów z wtórnie obniżonym poziomem funkcjonowania intelektualnego przez czynniki chorobotwórcze.
