Postawy wobec leków przeciwpsychotycznych, a jakość życia chorych na schizofrenię

Nie ma uniwersalnej definicji jakości życia. Ciekawa i użyteczna klinicznie jest propozycja Awarda, gdzie jakość życia w schizofrenii to postrzeganie przez pacjenta interakcji pomiędzy nasileniem objawów psychotycznych, objawami ubocznymi włączając w to subiektywną odpowiedź na leki przeciwpsychotyczne oraz poziomem funkcjonowania psychosocjalnego. Dysforia poneuroleptyczna/negatywne postawy wobec leków są jednym z elementów wpływających na współpracę w leczeniu i w konsekwencji na rezultaty terapii. Celem pracy jest zbadanie związków pomiędzy negatywnymi postawami wobec leków przeciwpsychotycznych i jakością życia. Uzyskane wyniki popierają tezę, że subiektywna negatywna odpowiedź na leki p/psychotyczne wiąże się z niższą jakością życia.
